How to make sector shape wire?
Generally, insulated wires are divided into prototype and sector-shaped structures. Please refer to the schematic diagram, which shows the sector-shaped insulated wire.
A complete cable consists of four sectors, each containing multiple copper conductors twisted together and extruded with insulation layer.
But do you know how this sector-shaped insulated wire is produced?
In fact, it is produced by a rigid frame stranding machine. As an essential twisting equipment for power cables, the rigid stranding machine can simultaneously meet the twisting work of copper and aluminum conductors.
Usually the conductor is round after twisting, but in the wire-compacted position of this machine, we can use a set of rollers (sector-shaped) to press the conductor into a sector shape as required. Please see the schematic diagram.
Some customers ask, what about producing segmented conductors?
There are mainly two parts:
1. The trapezoid of a single conductor is completed by a wire drawing machine, which has a sector-shaped wire hole for the die. The drawn conductor is a direct trapezoid.
2. The entire split conductor production process is also completed by the rotary compacting device.
How to ensure the angle adjustment of the secotr-shaped insulated cable when it is cabling?
As we all know, the insulated wires need a cable layingmachine to be twisted. There is a pre-twisting device in the cable machine, which can be manually or electrically controlled. The angle of the cable is determined by the number of turns of the cable, so that the angle of the cable converges in the middle.
In fact, the understanding of split conductors and fan-shaped cables is very confusing. It is simple for the staff of the actual cable factory, but it is difficult for the newly invested factory.
